This is it! The first time (?) anyone has enlarged a micro-scale ship to mini-fig scale, though many have been asked!

Apologies to Chris Giddens for the last image in the folder, I should have asked permission… please forgive me!

The long trailing 'wings' are sensor jammers, the guns are heavy magnetic rail-guns, if you're in a Mecha you'd better watch out!

Comments welcomed!
Cheers,
Mark.

Just plain sweet. I actually didn't think it could be done... not this well anyway. Serious props.

Well, Pete Reid had enlarged some of his bots and stuff... not sure if it was to minifig scale or not but they were definitely upsized (and done very well).

This model is hotter than a congo line of naked sailors. I love the use of the girders along the top.

Tim

This turned out great. Very well done! Would it be rude of me to say that I enjoy your unemployed-ness?

As for microscale to minifig-scale, I remember that Paul Baulch once did the same thing, though his microscale was a lot less detailed to begin with.

amazing resemblence. good job on sticking with the trans yellow canopys. my only nit is that i think the sensor jammers could be a tad longer and angled

Hey! The micro one has trans yellow near the engines!

This one hasn't!

The rest is great, though.

I'm really impressed with how this came out. It was fun watching the process in the WIP forums, and the final product is just awesome. Great job!

You did a very nice job of translating the micro ship into minifig scale, it looks quite nice.
